Technical difficulties
Hey friends! I know I haven't posted here in forever, but I have a good reason. Our home computer has died. Really it was a slow and painful death, and we had a feeling it was coming. Shawn's sweet laptop has been what I've been using at home, but it doesn't have a thing for me to upload my pictures with. So, I guess I'll have to get creative with my posts until the computer gets fixed or until I figure out what to do to load pictures. Anyhow...our weeks have been crazier than usual with youth and church events. I was out of town this weekend for a Disciple Now at another church. It was great. This weekend, I am camping out with the girls in our group...don't worry, it's right on a friends land, so we WILL NOT be roughing it. I hope you all are having a great start to a new week.

More birthday pics
Since we have celebrated Haleigh's birthday with a big party the past couple of year, we decided that we'd go low key this year. Our kids have only been to Chuck E Cheese once their whole lives, and are always asking to go back. So, we thought it'd be fun to take a trip there with just mom, dad and the kids. Unfortunatly, I brought my camera and forgot that I had the mempry card in the computer still. So, no pictures of Chuck E Cheese. When we got home, we opened a couple of presents and had birthday cake. I thought these pics of Haleigh with her big gift were cute.
Like the outfit? Haleigh picked it out all by herself!

Haleigh-the six-year old
The first few days in April are pretty exciting in our home. Joshua's birthday on the 1st, and Haleigh's on the 4th! I can't believe how quickly the time has gone in her sweet little life. Some of my favorite things about Haleigh are the "kissy monster" games we play together, she still lets me hold her in my lap to cuddle and read a book. Also, she has a flair for the dramatic...which is fun and exhausting at the same time. She loves to be the momma with her two little brothers, and loves "art" projects(especially ones with glitter!)I have really enjoyed homeschooling her this year. it has it's difficult times, but I really feel like I know her strengths and areas of weakness more than last year. So, six years ago, 14 hours of labor and two epidurals later, I saw for the first time a little girl that would change and challenge me and bring countless smiles to my face. Happy Birthday, munchkin!

Joshua- the two-year-old
Today was the big day. The day my baby officially turned into a little boy. It's no April Fool's joke, two years ago, I saw for the first time a little guy that has melted my heart into nothing. Since it is his birthday, I thought I'd make this post all about what he's doing now. He is talking so much and is able to repeat almost anything you ask him to. He especially loves to tell "knock, knock" jokes and always cracks himself up with the clever punch line. Sometimes, he just says "knock, knock" over and over again! He loves to play trains with his big brother, and dress up with his big sister. His favorite foods are cheese, grapes and anything that mommy has on her plate. Although Joshua is small for his age, he has a Big personality. He's always doing things to make us laugh or shake our heads in awe. He loves to play the guitar and sing in the house and during family worship. One day I'll catch him and be sneaky enough to get it on tape! This little guy adds so much to our family dynamic and is such a blessing to this mommy! Love you, little guy!Happy Birthday, Joshua.
