A little mess never hurt anyone, right? Thank goodness for washable finger paints. My mom bought the kids Diego finger paints and they had such a great time making a mess. Caleb has come a long way with messiness. He is usually very uncomfortable getting mess on his hands. He wants to wash it off pretty quickly..but this time he really got into it. He and Haleigh enjoyed making patterns in the paint with their fingers and colors. And they played for quite a while before wanting to wash up!.
This was one of the best moments we've had with Haleigh. A couple of weeks ago during our family time, Haleigh wasn't her usual self. We were singing and she wasn't singing along, which NEVER happens. She seemed sad and so Shawn stopped singing and took some time to talk to her. As it turned out, she had been feeling conviction over her sin and wanted to accept Christ as her Savior. So her daddy got to pray with her and lead her to the Lord.She was baptized last Sunday which was great timing since my mom and dad were here. It was great to see her take that step and we are excited about her decision for Christ.
