Ok, so for Haleigh's 5th birthday party, Shawn and I wanted to do something creative, something she'd really enjoy and remember...a paint party. Yes! It was a perfect idea. She loves to paint, most kids do, and what fun we'd have! Little did I know that the weather would turn crazy cold and we'd have to move our outdoor paint extravaganza to indoors.
We really did have a lot of fun...messy fun...but fun. Some friends came over and we painted with marbles, string, our hands, and then they talked me into letting them paint with their feet. I didn't realize just how slippery paint is to walk on...until Haleigh and Ellie fell and made butt prints on our masterpiece. The girls had a blast, then we ate a cake I made like a painter's pallet and opened gifts. The massive cleanup was worth all of the fun, giggles and memories made that day.
What a fun birthday party! I think it was a GREAT idea. :)

Wait, whose idea was this again. Did you come up with this all by yourself, was it a team effort or did that husband of yours come up with it. I just thought it was a pretty original idea that needed a creator to be recognized. Just wondering??? Love you sweet-heart!
