I am the mother of two little boys. Anyone with boys will probably share one of my grievances. I can't stand paying $10 for each of them to get a haircut! Their hair grows so quickly, it seems like they need haircuts all the time.I decided, "no more!" I would just do it myself...how hard could it be? 1st mistake. It is MUCH harder than it looks! I then decided that I would by some clippers and do it the easy way. However, Shawn really wanted to have a go at it before I buzzed them. "What harm would that be?", I thought. If it was really bad, I'd still just get clippers and buzz them. Well, he set up a mini-barber shop in our kitchen and went to work. The boys have fine, straight hair, which is a pain to cut. He was very meticulous and took his time. To my, and I think his, surprise, he did a great job! The boys look so great with their new cuts! I'm pretty impressed with my man's hidden talent. Hey, and if this whole youth pastor thing falls through, maybe God could call us to a haircutting ministry, LOL!
Great job Shawn! That is funny because both Doug and I have attempted Garrett's haircuts. Doug is much better than me but we still need to pay if we want it to look good. Garrett is growing his hair out now and its driving me crazy but he loves it.
